| Kyd began mixing in 1991.
His influences included Chicago’s music scene, guest Dj appearances at well known venues as well as numerous Dj’s he grew up with.
However with the music scene constantly changing, Dj Kyd does not allow himself to follow the usual trends. Dj Kyd draws on his spinning instincts, the atmosphere and his ability to be diverse instead of imitating other Dj’s. Dj Kyd is a true music enthusiast that can mix and play music as his creativity comes alive taking people to a different place of mind.
He has had several write ups in local publications as well as produced tons of mix tapes which vary in music styles demonstrating his unique diversity. Currently he spins at clubs and all types of events.
Some of Kyd’s music takes you to a whole new world you have never experienced before. Providing an atmosphere where they can hear something different. Kyd has been in the entertainment industry as a DJ/Promotions assistant manager and special events coordinator for 12 years as well as an editor for 8 years mixing and remixing music. |
